Samsung has unveiled new details on how to test the durability of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 flip phones. However, it is not clear why Samsung just released this information now, as both phones have been released since August.


That leads to speculation that it could be a solution to the question posed by a new report on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 screen.

In a video posted on its website, Samsung shows four separate tests. The first tests put the phones in a cabinet where the company tested the phones under different weather conditions to make sure they were still working. A test was performed in water. Another test used a robotic arm to test the operation of the S Pen on the Z Fold 3. The fourth test tested the flexibility of both phones over and over again.
